As a small indie we provide a personal approach, and can offer both traditional and partnership routes to publishing. We collaborate with expert authors and experienced industry professionals to produce high-quality, non-fiction books that are sold globally.

Our lineage lies in illustrated books; striking design and high-quality production values remain integral to our ethos. Coupled with our considered and collaborative approach, our aim is to curate a list of titles that offer something new to readers, and look good on a bookshelf.

Jo Rippon is an experienced commissioning editor and award-winning writer with more than 20 years' experience in editorial project management. Her most recent position was as commissioning editor at Gemini Books working with both new and established authors to deliver commercially successful, non-fiction titles. Prior to this, she fulfilled a similar role at Palazzo Editions, creating high-quality, illustrated, non-fiction titles across art, music, film, fashion and popular culture.

Jon Rippon (FCCA) is a board level finance and operations director with more than 25 years’ experience and a proven track record of setting and achieving company objectives and growth plans. In 2023, he co-founded and established the Gemini Books Group where he was group finance director before leaving at the end of 2024. Prior to this, Jon was co-owner of Palazzo Editions, a successful and award-winning publisher of beautifully designed and illustrated non-fiction books for the UK and international markets.
